What Is an Industrial Wastewater Evaporator?

An industrial wastewater evaporator boils off the water in a waste stream and recaptures it as clean distilled water, leaving only a small, concentrated residue behind. Our low-temperature wastewater evaporator does this under deep vacuum at just 28–30 °C, so it runs efficiently, protects heat-sensitive compounds, and resists scaling. Also called a Low Temperature Wastewater Evaporator or vacuum distillation system, it is the heart of modern wastewater volume reduction equipment.

Feed & Pre-Treatment
Wastewater is collected, pH-trimmed and coarse-filtered, then drawn into the sealed evaporation chamber.

Low-Temp Vacuum Evaporation
Under −97 kPa the water flashes to vapour at just 28–30 °C, leaving contaminants and salts behind.

Condensation → Distilled Water
The vapour is condensed back into clean distilled water, ready for reuse or compliant discharge.

The residue is concentrated — or crystallised by the scraper models — for true Zero Liquid Discharge.

What is the difference between the LTHP, LTHS and LTSS series?
LTHP is optimised for high-organic, low-salt wastewater using heat-pump vacuum evaporation. LTHS adds a patented scraper crystalliser for high-salinity and complex wastewaters. LTSS is a steam-driven scraper crystalliser ideal for large-volume, high-viscosity applications needing robust crystal removal.
What operating temperature and recovery rate can I expect?
The LTHP and LTHS series operate at 28–40 °C. Water recovery reaches up to 95% or higher, depending on wastewater composition and post-treatment configuration.
Do these systems need chemical additives or consumables?
No. Every process is purely physical — vacuum evaporation, condensation and optional membrane polishing. No chemicals or disposable filter media are required.
Which series suits high-salinity or crystallising wastewater?
The LTHS and LTSS series are engineered for high-salinity, high-viscosity and crystal-forming streams. The built-in scraper prevents wall scaling and ensures stable long-term operation.
Are the systems fully automatic?
