Industrial Centrifugal
Liquid Filter

A zero-consumable industrial centrifugal filter that spins contaminated coolants and oils at up to 6,500 G, separating solids down to 4–5 µm and compacting them into a dry sludge cake. No filter paper, no cartridges — just clean fluid that lasts 3–5× longer.

The Hidden Cost of Dirty Coolants & Oils

An industrial centrifugal liquid filter is engineered to solve exactly these everyday workshop problems.

💸
Frequent Fluid Changes
Coolant and oil purchases, filter consumables and waste-disposal fees compound year on year — every change costs twice.
⚙️
Accelerated Tool & Die Wear
Aluminium fines, iron swarf and grinding particles stay suspended, steadily eroding tooling, dies and moving parts.
🧹
Sump-Cleaning Shutdowns
Manual sump cleaning is labour-intensive and forces downtime, squeezing throughput and delivery schedules.
🔥
Declining Flash Point
As aluminium particles build up in wire-drawing oil, the flash point drops — raising fire risk on the floor.

What it is

What Is an Industrial Centrifugal Liquid Filter?

An industrial centrifugal liquid filter is a purely physical fluid-purification system. A high-speed rotor generates extreme centrifugal force — up to 6,500 G — that flings suspended solids such as aluminium fines, iron swarf and grinding debris to the rotor wall, compacting them into a dense, dry cake.

  • No consumable media — unlike paper or cartridge filtration, this industrial centrifugal filter uses no filter elements at all.
  • Down to 4–5 µm — removes sub-micron abrasives that would otherwise wear tooling and dies.
  • Dry sludge cake — low-moisture; metallic fines (aluminium, copper) can be recovered for resale.
  • Fluid chemistry preserved — no chemicals added; pH, additives and viscosity stay unchanged.

What you gain

Measurable Savings From Day One

Why manufacturers switch to centrifugal separation for coolant and oil purification.

01
Zero Consumables
No cartridges, papers or fibrous media — ever. No recurring purchases and no spent-filter disposal.
02
Fluid Life Extended 3–5×
Continuous solids removal keeps fluid effective far longer — four changes a year can become one, or none.
03
Less Tool & Die Wear
Separation to 4–5 µm removes the abrasive fines that cause rejects and poor surface finish.
04
Fewer Sump Shutdowns
The Automatic Series discharges sludge on a timer, largely eliminating manual sump-cleaning downtime.
05
Recoverable Dry Sludge
The compacted cake has very low moisture — aluminium and copper fines can be sold as scrap.
06
Raised Flash Point
Removing aluminium particles restores a safe flash point, cutting fire risk in wire-drawing workshops.

How it works

Centrifugal Separation, Step by Step

Contaminated fluid is pumped into a high-speed rotor. Centrifugal force of 1,700–6,500 G — thousands of times stronger than gravity — drives solids to the wall as a dense cake, while clarified fluid overflows back to the sump for immediate re-use.

1
Filtration
The pump draws fluid continuously through the spinning rotor — 24 h/day without interruption.
2
Clarification
Clean fluid returns to the sump; cleanliness improves continuously, down to 4–5 µm.
3
Auto-Discharge
At a preset interval the pneumatic scraper dislodges the sludge cake into the bin — no operator needed.
4
Waste Handling
The low-moisture cake is emptied periodically; metallic fines can be recovered for resale.
🛞
Semi-Automatic (Hy-30) variant
Identical separation principle. The operator simply stops the unit at a convenient time, opens the rotor cover and removes the cake — no compressed air, simpler design, smaller footprint.

FAQ

Centrifugal Liquid Filter FAQs

Do I ever need to buy filter cartridges or paper?
No. Centrifugal separation uses no filter elements, papers or fibrous media of any kind. Once installed there are no recurring consumable purchases and no spent-filter disposal costs.
How fine can it separate, and how much does it extend fluid life?
Separation reaches 4–5 µm and finer. Oil-based fluids typically last 3–5× longer; water-based emulsions see significantly extended change intervals — often turning four changes a year into one, or none.
What is the difference between the Automatic and Semi-Automatic series?
The Automatic Series (Hy600–Hy2000) runs unattended 24/7 with PLC control and pneumatic auto-discharge for fixed production lines. The Semi-Automatic Hy-30 Series is a compact wheeled unit where sludge is removed manually — ideal for smaller tanks, confined spaces or shared use, with no compressed air required.
Which fluids can it handle?
Oil-based fluids (cold-heading, wire-drawing, tapping, quenching, rolling-mill, anti-rust and cleaning oils), water-based fluids (aluminium-wire emulsion, water-soluble cutting and grinding fluids, lapping slurry), CNC and grinding coolants, plus specialist process fluids such as glass-cutting, sapphire-lapping and silicon-wafer dicing fluids.
Does it change my fluid's chemistry?
No. It is a purely physical process — no chemicals are introduced. Additives, pH, viscosity and performance characteristics remain completely unchanged before and after filtration.
How do I choose the right model?
Match your sump volume and operating mode: Hy600 (~3 t), Hy800 (~5 t), Hy1500 (>10 t), Hy2000 (centralised), or the Hy-30 Series for tanks up to 1.5 t. Send us your fluid type, contamination level and flow requirement and our team will recommend the optimal configuration.
